Arlequin batch files

dear all,

I have simulated microsatellite data using simcoal and I would like to analyse several parameters ( heterozygosity, allele number, M ratio...) using Arlequin batch file (.arb): the problem is that I can not obtain in the .sum file this parameters even if they are present in the .res files and I need a summary of these statistics to verify their distribution.

can you help me?

Have you found out about this since you put in the post?? I have the exactly same problem, so if anyone has any suggestions I would be very obliged for help. Only variation measure I get from the .sum files is the nucleotid diversity in the mold_div.sum file...

Hi again

I've been working a bit more with this and I think I have figured out the problem. The settings for which parameters to record I think lies within the .ars file, which default does not include all the parameters we both are interested in. I have had a look at this file in notepad but unfortunately it was too cryptic for me to figure out how to make changes to record the parameters we are interested in. Maybe someone else has the right code (-ars-file) written??
