local clock : need fossils for this locus

Postby blue esprit » Sat Sep 27, 2008 5:25 am

Dear Prof. Yang,

I'm trying to implement the local clock model (clock=6) on paml4/examples/MouseLemurs/codonml2.ctl ( ../../codeml codonml2.ctl), but I'm getting an error message that says:"need fossils for this locus". I have checked that fossil calibration information was specified in the tree file using the symbol @ in the /examples/MouseLemurs/MouseLemurs.trees. I did not alter the parametres in codonml2.ctl. I can not get the reason. Please give help.

Thank you,

Bo li

Sorry this is a very late reply.
I introduced a bug into version 4. I'll post an update in a week.
